We are a small medium to explore the vast and usually unseen concepts of Astronomical Education. We all fascinate the twinkling Stars, falling meteors at different periods, the ever shining Sun, changing Moon and many other captivating events. Many of us hardly know, living in such an modern era...that we can actually see the galaxy we live in with naked eyes. Also most of the planets between the twinkling stars! However we couldn't because of the bright lights creating light pollution and overtaking the beauty of the Night sky, DARKNESS.
But this was not the case about thousand years ago. No Internet, No phones and No artificial lights, But... there was glare and light spreaded by the fascinating Stars, Milky Way, the Sun and of course our nearest neighbour Moon. People of the time could actually see and observe planets, obliviously not the way we see in Photographs- big and clear, but like merely small dots between the stars, twinkling. They noticed the changes in the movements of these small dots of light and named them Planets. They were unhampered by air and light pollution, and felt overwhelmed by what they saw. It was there wonder that gave them way to the untold mysteries of the heaven.
It's quite unbelievable that people of that time could actually find, with no instruments that the Earth is a Sphere. Not just this they even concluded many many years ago the exact circumference of the huge Earth, that is actually the same, with very small difference of what today's complex and highly sensitive technology concluded. With very basic models of telescopes they discovered all the planets along with their moons.
